Rusty, Do you anticipate a Goodyear radial tire that looks like a Polyglas (similar to what Coker has done with the Firestone Wide Oval) anytime soon?

 

I have spoke with Kelsey and he stated that he has always prided himself on putting out the most accurate reproduction. Polyglas were not radials and that is going to remain the case. That being said, he is putting out some great reproduction radials. Feel free to give me a call, my cell is 816-654-3400

 

I too, was hoping a reproduction tire would be made in a steel belted radial for a lookalike Goodyear Polyglas. Sounds like that won't be the case.

Just curious what is the closest thing available in a steel belted radial for an H70-15 or P235/70R15 in RWL of course. The tires would be for a 1974 HO W30. Not ready to purchase yet, but curious as to what period correct RWL radials are available in that size.

The G70-15 Polyglas RWL is available. Also, we have the GR70-15 Steelgard radial and the Custom Tread which is the 'Steel Belted Radial" which is equal to a 225/70/15 radial. My cell is 816-654-3400.

I think the correct size for the 79 Hurst Olds and as a checklist option in 1979 was 205-70-14 if that helps.
