GM NOS 1978/1979/1980 Cutlass/Hurst Olds/442 14" x 6" Aluminum Wheel

Optional wheel for 1978-1980 Cutlass, with gold version used on 1979 Hurst Olds, and 1980 442. Was also an optional wheel for early 80's (1981, 1982?) Cutlass as well. $250.

Is this one wheel only?? Even if it was NOS (it's not) with the center cover and lug nuts IMHO it is not worth near that. I bought a full set complete with centers and lugs (takes special lug nuts) for $100.

Yes, it is NOS. What about it isn't NOS?

So you bought an NOS set of wheels, centers, and lug nuts for $100?

The nick in the rim would make it actually sell as a used wheel.

Priceless comment!! As anyone who buys and sells NOS parts knows, it is very common for NOS parts to not be flawless after 35+ years. The wheel has never been mounted, and still has the manufacturing tag on it - that's the definition of an NOS part in pretty much anyone's book. Apparently a new category for parts has been established - NOS per edzoldz. Don't know if the slight mark shown in the photo (not hidden) is in the picture or a minor flaw. Serious buyers, NOT TIME WASTERS, please send a pm and I will send you as many photos as you would like, and we can come to a mutually agreeable price.

Most sellers that I've bough nos parts for, list the flaws in their description, without the buyer having to go looking..

There is a little difference of a fender getting a ding from 35 years of shelf life, and another of a alum wheel that would be in a box it's whole life..
When My dad bought those wheels in 78 for his 77. they came in boxes from the dealership.. and the mid part and cap were separate..

Again good luck..

Man, this wheel is fine! With the tag, too. If you had all 4 I'd seriously be tempted to ditch my SS3's for this style. Severely hard to find, in any condition. I had a set of these on a 79 black Brougham I had years back. To boot, I have a set of NOS centers to match. Really hard to find in grey!

I was under the impression the silver ones were available on the 80 Calais. The gold were Hurst and 442 regardless of year. Either way I wish the came in something other than 14x6. <sarcasm>why didn't GM realize collectors would want these in a larger size </sarcasm>
