interesting comment. I always wondered why we have so many members who rarely contribute or post. Here's your free bump. BTW that book has a fair bit of wrong information in it, and the pricing is completely wrong for today's market.

I sold the '56 several years ago, so no longer a regular, but am cleaning out for a move and still have nice Olds stuff to sell... does that meet with your approval? Sheesh.

As to the book no author is perfect, but Langworth is perhaps the most respected auto historian alive, and if you've owned Packards and TRs you'd know that. His comments as to desirability are as relevant as ever and the price relationships are valid, even if the actual figure quoted are outdated, obviously, for a book not recently published. I think well worth a measly $12 shipped free...Thanks for your non-constructive post.

So you do check back. Good to see. Your comment was 'in general' and so was mine. Ever consider another Olds project? I'm sure you accumulated a fair amount of knowledge working on that car that would be great sharing with other members who aspire to the same generation.

You're welcome BTW. Fortunately I have thicker skin that you do.
