Free to a Good Home!! Oldsmobile 455 complete.

Hey Guys, I inherited an olds 455, I believe it is a 73-74 455, 4 bbl ka heads :-( but absolutely complete, even has the cruise control brackets, motor is located in New Jersey middlesex county about 15 minutes from Englishtown Raceway.

I was told it is a good running olds motor it spinsd freely and looks great, has dual exhaust manifolds pulleys etc .

Yes I could sell it.
No I dont want to
I want an Oldsmobile guy who needs it and will help his project
I dont want to give it to someone and see bits and pieces of it for sale here
I am not going to deliver it
but I can lift it into your truck/Trailer

so If someone needs a motor,

drop me a line tell me what your plans are or why you need it, and if it meets the above requirements its yours

I also need to get this out of my driveway, or Ill just dismantle it

Ill even buy you a beer after loading it.

my emails are hansene@un.org
my cell is nine zero eight four one five eight eight zero two

I will put on craigslist if I dont hear nothing.

Peace out brothers

Eddie

X2 hope to pick it up Sunday and will go in the 72 442 Green Turd until a proper engine can be built. Car has to be driveable for paint! This is just the ticket. I often give things away nice to get a return like this! Thanks Eddie.

Dang it! The day my internet wants to act up, a free running engine pops up locally. Would have been perfect for my new g-body project. Figures, lol. Much praise to you Eddie!

Awesome! Now it would be really funny if when the Green Turd gets its motor back, the 455 gets passed on for the same purpose, and so on, and so on..... good job Ed

That is a possibility as I have enough engines in pieces already and dont see another purpose for this one or a reason to just go on the pile...

Picked up the 455 and want to say Thanks Again, to Eddie, a great guy with a great project but he needs to step up the pace! Time will tell if it ends up in the 72 or will replace a 350 in a 71 Cutlass we have. The wheels will also end up on one of the cars.

Most Welcome.

Joe, Most Welcome sir, Truly a pleasure to meet you and your brother, Glad you can make use of the weels and the motor, this is really what the hobby is about.

Yes I need to pick up the pace, LOL... Only so many hours in the day, LOL and my missus has them fairly full with Honey Dos.

I used to go to carlisle twice a year, slog through the mud the blood and the beer LOL. havent gone in many years, I was just going through the rationalization of do I need this motor NOW, or a someday thing, Do I need those SS1s NOW or a someday thing,

And the other thing is None of us are rich, when we work on something it takes money from something else, Hobby's are suppose to be fun, happy joe and his brother are happy im happy we all win.

Ill be looking through some more stuff, if im not gonna use it on my project you never know might be other stuff coming in here..LOL
peace out bruthas
