Free - '72 Cutlass 442 Radiator

'72 Cutlass Radiator - original from 350

Replaced my original radiator with a new three row from Summit Racing. The original has no leaks or issues, but after replacing the 2 barrel with a 4 barrel on the 350 engine and updating single exhaust to dual six years ago, I have (only) twice got a Hot warning light on very hot summer days while sitting in traffic. I want to drive longer distances this summer and usually do one project during the winter, so the radiator upgrade was this year's project.

The old radiator is FREE to anyone who wants it. I am in SW Michigan and can meet up if you are within an hour. If you want to pay for shipping, we can figure something out. I still have the box and packing materials from the new radiator.

Mike very nice of you. But are you sure you want to give it away? If it is the original radiator for the car, I would put it in the garage rafters or somewhere out of the way. These parts are getting hard to find especially if a person wants car to be completely correct... May be worth it to next ownwer if you sell later.

The tanks on the OEM will accommodate a 3 row recore. I just did mine last summer, and you know it's going to be a direct fit. Radiator looks to be in good condition but after ??? years of operation it likely won't last long. Most of the rebuilds now are looking at 3 and 4 row cores to handle cooling for a 455 (or a built 350) and higher performance rear gears..

Greg and Tim - I will take your advice and put it away for later (or the next owner). Thanks for the voice of experience.
