This is a grey colored AC firewall evaporator case from a '72 Cutlass....earlier years were a darker color. It's the COMPLETE CASE, etc (large half shown in pic below).
>Clean - all grease, chaulk, etc has been removed. Cleaned INSIDE and OUTSIDE. Case was completely disassembled, etc.
>Very nice surfaces on the case halves. The small side (engine side) does have a few scratches and a couple slightly "lighter" grey spots on the surface but nothing terrible at all.
>Evaporator Case has had the following work done on it:
-POA valve bracket - has been removed, beadblasted, epoxy primed and painted the correct black (catalyzed urethane) and is reinstalled using some custom/unique factory appearing fasteners I make myself
-Two sensors or resistors that are mounted on the large half of the case have been detail cleaned and the color (red) is VERY NICE.
-All fasteners have been beadblasted and replated - this includes ALL the fasteners ....lots of small hex screws, the long case half hex screws and the screws and speed nuts that attach this whole thing to the firewall.
-Large POA valve bracket has been refinished
-Two smaller steel loop brackets will be refinished or replated
-Case halves will be "pre-loaded" with the black strip chaulk - b/n the case halves and on the back surface that contacts the firewall
-Wire/"condensor" for the heater blower motor and another ground strap are refinished and super nice
-Wire clamp (original) for the rubber drain boot is included
-Nice original rubber "elbow" that runs to the blower motor included as well and the black plastic piece that the elbow attaches to on one end...cleaned up and very nice
-Evaporator core metal "plate" was beadblasted and sprayed with catalyzed grey epoxy (mounts inside the large half)
I'll send more (and detailed pics) to those that have SERIOUS INTEREST. Also have the evaporator core and POA valve from this unit....may be available at an extra cost.
Put a new foil "Harrison" sticker on this unit and it will be show ready....a very nice piece that's had a lot of time and effort already put into it.
This will be shipped with the two halves separated......makes for a smaller box and lower ship cost.
