F/S - Heavy Duty Front Springs

These springs are virtually new. I purchased them from a CO member some time back for my 66 Project, but they ended up being way too stiff for that car. (BB, MT, no A/C) I never drove with them, and was told when I purchased them that the PO had only installed them also. (too stiff for him too). I have no info on them other than the Free Height is just over 18" and 'resemble' the Moog 5272 physically (dia, thickness, ends). I ended up installing a set of Moog 5272's which raised the front just enough. These springs are quite a bit stiffer than the 5272's. Many of the new Moog front springs sell for around $100.00, I will let these go for $90.00 shipped anywhere CONUS. I do take PayPal.

I put a set of Moog heavy duty (used) front springs on a 67 Lemans convertible with 400/auto combo, no a/c. It did ride rough on bad surfaces but out on the highway it seemed OK. I wonder a little bit if it might have been the polyurethane bushings in the control arms. Do you know these are HD springs for sure? The ones I used still had the little plastic tags attached that said heavy duty - Moog. I'm interested.

I couldn't find any identifying marks on the springs, and there were no tags when I bought them. All I know is what I put in the first post, they are very stiff. Make me a reasonable offer.

HD springs

How did your car sit with the springs? High low or approximately stock? I have the same car plus ac.
I don't want to cut them as that would make them even stiffer.

They raised the front end about 1-1/2 - 2".
