This is a really weird and neat option. I had to look up how it worked. Apparently it unlatches the seat backs any time the doors are open. Pretty cool! GLWTS

This is a very rare option on an A-body car. matter of fact electric door locks for a needed option in order to get this. My W30 convertible has it. Never seen it on another A-body. It was more prevalent on the E-body cars, especially caddy's
