that is a nice designed cam, and it would really make More power with some 1.7:1 or 1.8:1 rocker arms.
“assuming” that these numbers above from J&S ported heads and the numbers below are from benches flowing at 28 in-Hg, the J&S heads flow very well for the small Intake valve size. Sort of weird that the port stalled so exactly at the same big number though.
also, no verification on these to show calibration and what size bore/sleeve was placed under the head. The bigger the bore, the better the flow.
Same reason why big bore engines make more power than undersquare ones (455 olds)
Here is some stock flow numbers I found for the Edelbrocks:
lift Intake flow / exhaust flow
.100” 65/53
.200” 136/103
.300” 197/139
.400”242/167
.500” 243/182
.600” 250.189
.700” 253/192

This seems like a lot of really good parts that could make a great engine, I think you just need more good pics of everything that you are including in total. This looks like a great way for someone to build a hot street/mild race engine that could make very good power.
It sounds to me that you are including the following:
Ported Heads
Intake
Comp Hydraulic Roller Cam
Hydraulic Roller Lifters
Comp Roller Rockers
Please correct me if I am wrong, I am just trying to help out.
What kind of parts do you have in the built shortblock?

I took the pistons out cause I didn't have much info on then. They are ARIAS pistons. Stock rods and stock crank. It currently is sitting with crank installed, flywheel, .600 lift flat tappet cam, Cloyyes timing chain on an engine stand.
