Didn't know two Q-jets would fit front to rear like that.

 

they will if you use chevy style q jets with the side mounted inlet. i have one of these im putting on my 455. if i dont like 2 4s i can use 2 dual jets. i just think it looks good to see 2 q jets,kind of unique.

 

I bet you can't run an hei with that setup. That would be a lot of carb for a small block!

 

Correct, points sized small body dizzie only and as far runningtwo Qjets , you could adjust the tangs and restrict throttle opening and also restrict the air flap opening to halfway like they did on the 4 barrel Buick V6 in the late 70's

 

66 and 67 Q jets have the side inlets also.
