To The Top.

It a refresh, that brings it back up to being current and gets more attention.

You can always respond with LTP, which is Lower The Price, although that's frowned upon around here, even though a couple guys could use a reality check. Olds never made anything out of gold.

LOL, most often when the price is too high, the seller will figure it out eventually. It does take longer for some.

Unfortunately, not always. There's a guy trying to sell a 1968 Cutlass convertible here in the DC area. The car was hit hard in the front right after a nice build (despite the fact that it has an SBC... ). The car has been for sale on Craigslist for a couple of years now, and he's even dragged it up to Carlisle a couple of times. Hasn't budged on the $8K asking price in that time. I'm sure the condition of the car hasn't improved in the intervening years.

Same thing with a dealership here in town. A few years ago they had a 1967 442 in fair condition with a $15K asking price (it was worth about half that in my opinion). Car sat there for three years while they refused to drop the price. Tires went flat, rust that had been fiberglassed over started coming back, etc, etc. The car disappeared one day after deteriorating considerably.

Never said that you can fix stupid... There comes a point when the amount of time in possession (which is a business cost), exceeds the worth of the product. At some point its time to cut your losses.

One or two of my posts have been "ttt'd" although they were not responding to articles for sale, or necessarily trying to update anything.
One was an attempt on my part to impart some humor, I can't recall what the others were about.

Roger.
