for sale 71-72 nos fender
That should read "used fender" as that definitely is not NOS.

Go back and read the ad again. He's selling two different ones. The fender with rust is the "70 cutlass fender needs a patch on bottom".

If it was "on a car" does that make not make it a used part, therfore by definition not NOS?
If not then my whole car is NOS! Anyone want to buy an entire NOS car?

Perhaps I need tri focals, but as Mike 77 points out, if it has been on a car it is not NOS, and as it is in primer, how would you tell if it's NOS or not, and not chiniseum?

The repops have a different guage of steel, the way the spot welds are made are different than OEM,the front filler panel is spot-welded,not screwed-on,and there is some goofy Chinesium isignia stamped by the hood hinge area.
