Cutlass 66/67 Parts

I have a set of front fenders with the inner fenders for $350 each and have been repaired on the bottoms, doors are $250 each no rust and no windows, trunk lid is $250 with a minor dent, the trunk lid rear edge trim is $150 in very good shape, not for a 442, I also have a nice srt of black seat belts with the correct buckels and retractors, black for $225. Parts are from a 1966. Fenders and doors are nice and straight. Fenders have stainless but attached with bolts so are not easily used. Shipping possible or possible half way delivery depending upon where you live. Many photos are possible to send

1966 trunk trim (OLDSMOBILE)

i know this is an old post, (and therefore a long shot) but is the trunk trim still available by chance?

Yes, you are lucky. Most of these parts are gone including the trunk. However, I still have the trunk trim. It is from a 1966 Cutlass, not a 442, but a Cutlass. It is in excellent condition from a western car. I am asking $150 and worried about shipping it because it is so long and nice. If it gets damaged, it is hard to replace as you know. Where are you located and what idea do you have to recieve it? I hope you are heading west for a summer vacation.... I also have the trunk "Cutlass" script and Olds Rocket logo. If you want to see photos, please send me your email address. Regards, Trent in Los Angeles, CA.

I recently sold an NOS center hood spear from a 65 big car...I find on such parts, a long fibre tube with a length of some sturdy wood taped to the outside provides that extra measure of protection from bending.

Also, if you want it to arrive in one piece use FEDEX Ground, not UPS.

That might just work. I am careful wrapping stuff, but hate to get rare parts damaged. Because of the bend, that tube will have to be 8 inches round to fit the part. Thank you. Lets see if Doug still wants the part.

Hmmm....did not realize the bend in the trunk molding was so significant. The hood spear I sent had a bend, but it JUST worked.

Several years go, I bought a very nice '66 442 trunk molding for a car I used to own, and I beleive it came in a tube as I described, though don't recall it being 8 inches wide. My recollection is I finally recycled the tube, using it for the hood spear last week (I may mis-remember its origin)!

I am definitely interested. I live in Philadelphia, PA. But as it happens, I'll be in Long Beach, CA the week of 4/16 for a conference if that makes things any easier. I purchased a hood spear (equally long and equally fragile) several weeks ago and it was shipped in a fiber tube. Got here in perfect condition...

Please send/post pictures when you can.

Thanks for the response!

Mr. Alien; The trim is about 4 inches with a bend in the center, so I figure the total tube would have to be 8 inches or so around to carry the part. I thank you for your suggestion. Mr. Oliver; Sounds good. I will post photos here. I figure you can see the part for yourself while you are in town which is best to make sure you are happy. Regards, trent

I measured mine, somewhat, as it is on the car. I think 5" would do it. Maybe take the trim with you and check what size fits when you buy the tube.

Hi 66 Lover; I am usually thinking a would want extra space filled with chips and not have the part tight in the tube. So I figure some extra space will give it cushion. Thank you for your help. Regards, Trent

The pictures look great! Thanks, Trent. And yes, I agree that the extra space filled with bubble wrap or foam would do the trick...

hi there... not sure if I am too late. Looking for a passenger front door for my Cutlass Supreme 4DR Hardtop. Do you still have one?

I have a 66 passenger front door for a 2 door hardtop. It will bolt
on fine but might be a little too long to close properly. Sorry.
