just pulled this 8 track unit out of a 69 toro, does play put will need to be tuned up, every thing is there no cracks in the housing, all the wiring is there and in good condition, face plate should clean up nicely all screws and rear mounting bracket is there, some warp age on the backends of the face cushion should not be noticeable when installed 175.00 plus the ride

 

is it the same for a Cutlass / 442

 

The 8 track unit itself is the same but the housing is different cause it doesn't mount the same on either car.

 

X2. There is a member here who makes the correct housings for the A body cars though. W70442 - Randy. He also overhauls / services these units, and makes custom lower dash mounts for various needs. Worth checking him out.

Note, front appliqué changes with model years from 68-72.

If you still have this I would be interested in it. The housing appears to be in extremely good condition from the pictures. I kind of wish it had the 68 walnut style face-plate, but the 69-70 burl-wood style face-plate work for me.
