Many of you know me from the swap meet at Olds homecoming. From the first homecoming until 2011, I brought my old travel trailer converted with shelving for swap meet parts. I'd pull out the awning, set up tables and when people asked for some obscure part, I'd dive into the trailer and pull that part out. After 2011 we moved to our building in Jackson, Michigan and the trailer became so old I didn't think it was safe to move anymore. So I used it for parts storage. Last year the roof of the trailer started to cave in, so I moved all the parts into my back room and sent the trailer to the scrap yard. Now I'm planning on retiring sometime in the next five years and I'll be selling my building. So I need to find someone who would be interested in purchasing my used cutlass parts inventory. From the late 70s into the 90s, I parted out over 100 Cutlasses and 442s. Over the last 40 years I sold a great deal of the parts I had. So this is whats left. I believe it would be best to come and see it in person. There's enough parts to fill a 24' enclosed trailer. There's no inventory list but some of the highlights are; 12 dashpads,16 bucket seat frames, convertible top frame parts, wire harnesses, lots of stainless trim, and lots of brackets and hardware. There are no big ticket, high price parts like OAI hoods, rallye pacs, consoles, etc. etc. and there's no big sheet metal parts. I sold all that stuff years ago. Most parts are somewhat organized and labeled, however a percentage of the parts still need to be sorted cleaned and labeled. So whoever takes on this project should know, there's still work to be done. I think I've priced this lot fair, but I'm certainly open to offers. The asking price is $1800.00 for all. I'll be at homecoming again this year. Just look for my motorhome with the "Carshine Restorations" sign. Thanks for reading this long post. ~BOB
It took a couple of months, but I finally organized and sorted all these parts. So here's some up to date pics.
There's a ton of parts here and it's hard to really explain in pictures. If your interested, I welcome you to come check this out. Thanks. Bob
We will all miss you Bob once you retire, but you deserve it. I always loved talking to you and listening to your Oldsmobile stories and have always been amazed by your knowledge.
