Clearing out some of my old stuff. Decided that I will never use these and maybe somebody can.
Have a pair of C heads from a 425 Starfire. Engine had about 52K and was running when I took apart at least 25 years ago. Steel crank and D block used on another project. These have been indoors every since. The engine was red, so not a Toro and likely not the large valves - cannot find my caliper.
Local BOP machine shop told me at least $400 each, so let's say $750 for the pair. If this is not reasonable, then let me know - I am willing to work on a fair price to and end user but I also don't like to sell low and have my stuff flipped down the line. I cannot find any good comps at all... only redone pairs that sell for about $2k. You won't hurt my feelings if you tell me that my price is too high. Feel free to let me know if I am asking too little as well.
I am outside of Boulder, Colorado for pickup. I am willing to box these up and ship UPS and pass along the actual cost - I have an account with a discount, but it will still not be cheap. If the buyer wants to handle shipping, I will box and drop them off at some freight or shipping place in Denver.
