buyer beware... ebay w30 carb

http://www.ebay.com/itm/1970-1971-Ol...p2056016.l4276

this is the same guy that just sold a junk 7040256 for $510. It's funny that he can't even wipe the staged dirt off the "rare w30 carb". The number and date look like crap, and I'm sure there would be more wrong with it.
buyer beware..

Thats the guy that just got me Vader. I got the 510.00 fake restamp crap. Pathetic how ppl cant be honest. He obviously knows they are fakes ad hes got numerous carbs. He never even responded to my email, he just responded back through ebay saying send it back for a full refund. He knows, he just hopes theres people out there that wont catch it and u wont know its a fake till its well to late.

This alone should be a warning flag:

Numbers on it are 7041257 RG 0961. Carburetor is a rare find and is correct for all 1970-1971 Olds 442 w30 cars with 455 Engine and Automatic Transmission
Obviously a 7041... carb is NEVER "correct" for a 1970 Olds. The sound you hear is the BS meter going off.

Not saying this is the end all solution but he needs to be reported, E-Bay has avenues for this. He has 100% positive feedback, I assume TicTocTach you gave him the lowest feedback possible and reported him. There is a way to contact E-Bay support and report this without going through him. I've been selling stuff for awhile, haven't gotten to the car parts yet, I'll post them first here, but people like this definitely need to be flagged.

Again, this might not be the perfect solution but he is holding a 100% feedback and he shouldn't be. Sorry for getting taken on this, that's a lot of money. I like to think of myself as one of the honest sellers on E-Bay.

Whether it prevents him from selling on eBay again or not, I feel that karma is your own worst enemy when it comes to things like this. I'm glad I'm protected and I can still get my 530.00 back with the shipping but eventually blatantly selling carbs that you are well aware are restamps I think will come back to bite you in the ***. Karma will get you. Some people can do it though. How, I don't know?? Put your head on the pillow at night knowing your straight up screwing people. People like that will always be there though. Never going to go away. I'm no olds guru by any means. I'm still learning as I go. I have a passion for these cars as it is all my father and uncles ever owned. I pulled the trigger to fast on this buy and this is how it went down. Fortunately for me there's a lot of guys on this site all looking at things like I do. Help eachother out, and always honest about what theyre selling.
