Here is a beautiful set of early 400E-425 7 inch rods that once upon a time years ago Joe Mondello had prepared that I did not get around to using. Great example of
"old school" high quality workmanship. The main benefit to these rods would be the heat treatment and the bronzed bushed ends. The rods have been shot peened, magged, heat treated-to prevent bending, resized, side notched, ARP bolts, and bushed for floating pins. While not as good as today's aftermarket offerings, I wouldn't hesitate to use them in hot street car application, not a 500 HP plus drag car. $150.00 plus the ride out of Dallas. Approx shipping cost in the lower 48 states is $36.00.
