A friend of mine recently gave me a bunch of 8 track tapes he had stashed in his garage. I kept a few of them for nostalgia since my 74 H/O has an 8 track player. The rest of them I don't want. Any interest for these? I have no idea if they still play, but I thought they'd be cool to display with a car at a car show. Most are 60's-70's era country but there are a few early 60's-early 70's pop/rock tapes.

If anyone wants them, they're yours free. Just pay shipping. Will be shipped from metro Denver, CO. There are 30 tapes and included is a nice 8 track carrying case that holds 24 tapes. It looks like a little suitcase. If no interest, they're destined for the thrift store soon but I thought I'd offer them here first. Send me a PM if interested.

Thanks W-30dreamin for giving the tapes a new home. I didn't really want to dump them at a thrift store because they'd probably just hit the trash can.

Sorry, no Chicago tape. Very good guess though! The vast majority of the tapes are old country-western, with a few pop/rock.

I was like a kid on Christmas morning,never thought the day would come that I was once again excited to get some 8 tracks and case!
At car shows people are really hyped up over seeing my factory 8 track,having the case full of tapes should heighten their viewing enjoyment.

That's a pretty good variety there. I still remember singing Kenny Rogers "The Gambler" as a little boy and my mom telling me that was a song for adults and I shouldn't sing it. Nice on the cassette adaptor. I could use one myself. Got a million cassettes.
