8 track player

1968-1972 Oldsmobile underdash 8 track player. Just the player, only what is shown. Uncut wiring and partial ID stickers. $125

Yes 68-72.... Why does it matter ?

Found a 8 track player on E-bay and trying to figure out if it is the correct case for a 1968. Did 68-72 have the same part number.

While there are a couple minor external changes in the player case, the external connecting/mounting points and the surrounding case are the same from 68-72. The aluminum or wood grain face changes from year to year. I've used a number of these and have not found a difference in wiring connectors or attaching points. If there are differences for the '68 model, I'm not aware of them. Hope that helps.
