76 thru 81 Olds parts book

I have a 76-81 Olds parts book that covers the entire line. It is both the parts (white pages) and Illustrations (green pages) and has an effective date of 7/87. It comes in a factory binder and is in good useable condition. The price is $75.00 OBRO plus shipping. Please send all inquires to nova7579@yahoo.com with Olds parts book in the subject line or I will not open it.
ThanX

I like things that go bump in the night!

Is this the only place you're trying to sell it? Have you considered ebay?

Maybe while you're waiting for it to sell, you can send it to WMachine for scanning into the Wild About Cars database.

No.

People buy paper manuals all the time, even though they are available for free from WAC.

Go check eBay, or any of the dozens of prosperous literature dealers.

Okay, I get it.

I hope you are successful in selling your parts manuals for cars that very few people have any interest in collecting.

Just don't come around here asking anybody to spend his time in front of a computer typing carefully thought out advice for free if you're ever in a bind.

Eric,
I did not come here asking for FREE advice. I came here to sell a couple of Olds items and parts books at well below the ebay asking prices. Why would I spend MY own money sending these heavy manuals to someone who wants to scan them and make them available for free????? I know that there is little to NO interest in the manuals as if they were desirable they would have sold a long time ago. Sorry you had nothing better to do today then get your undies in a bunch!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I never did a survey, but I believe most of us here see this site first as a place to share information and advice, and only second as a place to flog our excess stuff.

Why would so many people on here want to spend their valuable time answering other peoples questions about their cars?

To help people, foster the hobby, and save cars from needless butchery.

Those were the sentiments that I thought might motivate you to provide your materials (which you are clearly not using, and have not been using for quite some time) for the community project that Kurt (WMachine) has invested thousands of his valuable hours into. I have no idea how much it would cost to ship these manuals, but it might be worthwhile to check with him, as he has been doing this for a long time now, and may have an arrangement.

I quess you must have good statistics to make that statement.... I know "many" people who have interst in those model year vehicles.... the Cutlass, Hurst Olds, and 442 (78-80) are a few examples.........
