1971 455/TH400 Complete Pullout - Houston

Strong running stock motor pulled from my 71 Delta 88. I’m going 6.0 LS

Comes with below

•MSD Atomic throttle body EFI full kit

•MSD Billet distributor

•MSD 6AL ignition box (controls timing)

•Heddman Black Maxx ceramic coated full length headers for Delta 88

•Edelbrock Performer aluminum intake

•Summit 160amp alternator

•Powermaster hi torque mini starter

•TH400

•A/C compressor (blows cold)

•Accessory brackets

•Saginaw PS pump

•Original snorkel air cleaner & Edelbrock air cleaner

Complete carb to oil pan plus transmission. Original to car F block, G heads, N crank. I have original box for MSD Atomic, MSD 6AL & MSD billet distributor all purchased new. Car has 55k original miles. Bought from original
owner.

The motor is completely taken apart for inspection and all parts organized and bolts neatly bagged and tagged for re-assembly. I planned to install new gaskets/bearings and paint the motor/powder coat brackets. I show the car at local meets and wanted to clean up and paint engine bay. Pulled motor and took apart and never got around to it. Now I have a 6.0 LS I’m building for boost.

Would be great for complete swap.
Asking $3k OBO located north Houston. Pickup only. Video of it running or more pics by request. Also posted on Facebook locally.

Yes this pic is actually before I had my SSIV’s restored. I sent off the original “correct” trim rings and had them restored and polished. Luckily after a couple years searching I found an NOS set of 5 center caps with zero pitting. My SSIV wheels are now 9.5/10 condition 👍

Curious to know what is that contraption (technical engineering terminology) in the upper radiator hose?

Everyone asks about that lol. It’s an in-line filter for upper radiator hose made by Champion and sold by Jegs. I didn’t want anything in my new Griffin aluminum radiator.
