70 W-30 parts for sale
70 W-30 parts for sale
Prefer to ship the transmission and rear end with Fastenal.
TM O type 12 bolt rear end. Missing gears and bolts to gear. I think everything else is there but apart. Pitting looks minor. as is $500
Early aluminum W-455 intake, full Oldsmobile word, Pitting around water ports. $950 Sell pending but consider sold
F heads, 211 date, never cut, cleaned and checked for cracks, nice bare core set. $3000 Sold
F heads that were surfaced .070 or more. Checked for cracks and are good. cleaned and bare. (someone still has first chance but should know soon)
Heat shroud for passenger manifold. rusty and needs work $35
OW transmission. I have never ran it and consider it a core. I took the pan off and it does have the correct valve body. Looks nice and clean inside. $1300
Red inner fenders. Nice but not perfect and not that interested in selling but will put a $1600 price on them. If they bring that they are gone.

It is the transmission in this thread.
https://classicoldsmobile.com/forums...-your-vin.html
I will add a couple of the inside. I took the pan off and made sure it had the correct valve body. I feel sure this transmission has never been apart.

Hello,
Thank you kindly for providing link and additional photos. Just to put everyone at ease, I am not attempting to build a W-30 clone, mine is a documented W-30 (can provide you proof as I have the broadcast card-built last week of Oct '69). I purchased my vehicle while in High School back in '84. Somewhere back in '85-ish the transmission was acting up and did a swap for another T400 the transmission shop had all ready built. As a kid, I wasn't hung up on # matching as it wasn't even a thought in my mind, I just wanted the car on the road ASAP. Fast forward, as I'm positioning myself to restore the car, I'm documenting all the parts on the car, everything checked out, engine, heads, carb, intake, distributor, real W27 aluminum rear end, etc...I was bummed the only part not for my car is the transmission as I discovered its for a Pontiac, thus the reason I'm interested in your transmission. I would appreciate any consideration on you selling the transmission making everything complete for me. If you have any questions or wish to discuss further, please don't hesitate to contact me directly.
Regards,
Jim

Jim:
Would you mind providing your carburetor information to this tread: https://classicoldsmobile.com/forums...uild-date.html ?
By the way I can appreciate the I just want to get it back on the road and not caring about numbers. In 1978 my water pump went out. I just traded it in a the auto parts store for a rebuilt one. As a result, I just paid stupid money to get a properly coded and dated water pump.
