It's a members on here I believe as I remember seeing that listed over the summer for same price on this site by the owner. Hood is nice don't get me wrong, i just seriously doubt he pulls in the 2500.00 for it, but you never know.

I just know there has been nicer for sale in the past few months for 1800 - 2000 and even a 1700 almost mint and even then they had to sit on those for a little spell before they sold. Just takes the right buyer, at the right time with excess money to burn on just a hood.

Good luck to the seller hope he fetches it.

I've paid that and even more, for a mint hood.A few years ago,I had a collection of 7 very nice OAI hoods, but they have slowly been used up for concours restorations. If I had a good means of hauling it,I might go after it.It does take the right person to buy that.

Wish I could find one near me at those prices (or at all).

Hey guys I go to a bop swap meet every year but in dupage county il and I have seen nice hoods for 600 to 750 the same as this one. I would suggest you check your local area for the same kind of swap meet. The people who run these meets are very cool to all who have our kind of vehicles. The swap meets are usually in the spring sometime.

If that is the case, that is where R Memmer is probably buying them, then flipping them for $3,000.00.He is not too far from there,in ILL.

I've seen stuff bought fairly cheap,in the morning, moved down to another vendor, and sold again the same day for much more.It happens. Not sure if it is more of a hobby,or a sport.

A few years back I was setting up next to a guy at a swap meet early Thursday morning. I noticed a 427 Corvette tri power set up asking $1000 OBO. It was gone about 30min later. The next day I am walking around and see it with another vendor with a $4500.00 price tag and the word SOLD written over it.
