Just bought a 70 VC for parts. Any interest in any of this? It's in rough condition. All interior parts shot except dash (blue). I plan to use some stuff on my other Vista which is a little better. I am going to scrap out what's left. I planned to use the rear end in mine but found it has 2.56 gears(open), mine has 3.08 and I really don't want to change ratios. I can get some pics of this stuff if there is any interest. There's no engine, radiator or transmission. I'm in central Michigan. Thanks. Adding some pics today. Grilles are busted and pretty poor I plan to use them for patches maybe.

 

I would be interested in the front disc brake set up if it has them and if for sale. Booster to lines and spindles etc.

Does have the complete disc brake set up. Rotors maybe ok, Booster, master cylinder and calipers probably need rebuilt , I don't know about the proportioning valve. Lines all gone-rusty, I wouldn't trust the hoses. Right now I am using these parts to keep the body a roller but I will be selling them later. $150. plus shipping for all of it. Shipping maybe killer though... Thanks, Greg

 

Please let me know when your ready to sell them. I can drive up and pick the parts up. Also I just meant the lines from the master to the valve not the lines behind along with the ret of the front brake parts.

Sounds good Brian, I'll let you know when I get it apart. Also I will get some more pics for the others who have responded. We got a lot of rain just recently and the mosquitos will carry you away!! But I plan to get out and remove more stuff and get pics this week. Thanks, Greg.

 

This dash has a few issues. It appears to be stained on the top from dryer sheets and papers, etc laying on it in the sun for years. Also there is a aprx 3/8" hole drilled in the plastic of the lower dash that you cant see unless you look up from below. Also 2 small holes on the upper dash that you can see. I originally thought the radio opening was unmolested but it is opened up slightly. Also in between the gauges the plastic is cracked (see the pic where I spread it open w/ my fingers). Also the ash tray door is cracked along the drivers side. Really weird... It seems to stay together but I don't know if it would come apart if removed. See all the pics for the issues. I want $100.00 for all of it- you pay shipping. I'm also going to add more pics. Thanks,Greg

Remote drivers outside mirror, seems to work ok and is functional but quite pitted----$20.00 you pay the ride.
HUGE welded to frame Trailer hitch.. (What did this car pull??) will have to cut off frame----$50.00- you would probably have to pick this up...

How are the back doors, and the foot well in the very rear? Footwell/cargo area beneath load floor.

 

Well.. everything is relative.... I would say not real good. The floor area where the 2nd seat is, is bad. The floor area where the 3rd seat would be is not too bad, I will check the rear doors a little better but I think they're not so good. I'll get some more pics.
