I called them yesterday and they quoted me $150 for ground shipping

 

I got $120.00 to my house,$115.00 to a business. 60x36x8,35lbs,insured for $400.00.
I did not run that through my account though.

 

I used 66x36x12 50 pound weight $value500
The foam I was thinking about wrapping it in to ship it is 3inches thick

I'm thinking it will be cheaper when it is shipped,and my account is used. Somehow I got a 69 lid to Utah for $80.00.
I also think the actual weight is 35lbs.I do have that written somewhere,when I was doing steel to fiberglass weight comparisons.

 

Have you had fastenal ship anything for you?
I have heard they can be reasonable but have not used them yet

The fedex quote I got today was based on estimated size and weight. I am not going to crate the critter until it is sold. It will be rather difficult to get exact numbers (size and weight) until it is wrapped up. I would think with a fedex account and a business address to ship to cost would be less $$$

I would MUCH rather have someone cash and carry this item
