Hi, with some extra time on my hands I uncovered a box in the garage that has a U15 1970 Safety Sentinel Speedometer. I tested the buzzer and it seems to work, the outside case is in good condition and still has the sticker on it. The glass is in good condition but the gauge would look better with new glass installed. The **** moves the indicator back and forth easily. I did not check any of the lights but bulbs are in all of the sockets. I don't know if there is anything wrong with it or whether it is in great condition ready to go. This Sentinel was at some point was originally for a column shift car but the lettering was taken away though I can still see the faint letters. There is only one buzzer included in this sale.
The purchaser can have it serviced by Scott Winn on this site a.k.a. Oldspackrat, I believe there are also other vendors who can service this gauge too but Scott gets great reviews on his work. I discussed this gauge with Scott and he quoted me $100 plus shipping for servicing the gauge as long as nothing is damaged/missing or broken.
I am looking to get $275 for this gauge plus shipping - if you need additional photos let me know, I have a short video of the buzzer going off.
On my 70 Cutlass SX when driving I had to turn it up to 80 MPH just me here in Calif. or buzzer went off driving me crazy and the wife saying what is buzzing.
If I needed one I would buy it right now great price.
