Larry - That would be a 1100879 stamped alternator (37 amps). I MAY have one of these with a March or April '70 date code...I'll check. If I do it would be sold as a finished/restored alternator but the price would be MUCH higher since the 1100879 alternator is in demand for '70 W31 cars as well.

It makes no difference which side they are on....they are the same alternators/cases, etc but with one (non-ac) putting out 37 amps and the other (AC) putting out 55 amps. Of course the stamping is different for each. PHYSICALLY, they are the same alternator.
Not sure why you posted your last comment....you said you want one for a NON-AC car so 1100879 is what you would need.
