Just a friendly heads up...a 70 hood is different than a 71-72 hood,they will not interchange.

 

Thank you for that, I thought so after I tried to sell it to somebody and they brought it back , then i saw something that made me think otherwise.
I 'll change it to 71-72

Did the 70 have the so called tooth in the middle ,
and mine has the safety latch offset to left. Facing car

 

'70 has the tooth mounted to the hood and is straight across above the grills:

'71/72 has no tooth and has raised cutouts around the grills:
