Hi ent, I think they are 71-72, 70 bezels are different. I hope this helps with the sale.

No, the headlight surrounds (plastic pieces behind bezels) are different, and the bezels are not interchangeable.

Steve, I just compared them side by side with the set off my 70, and they look identical but for the paint.....I know the housings are different like you said between the two. The holes and everything are the same....?

I'm not sure what you are looking at...bottom line is that '70 headlight bezels won't interchange with 71-72. See this thread: https://classicoldsmobile.com/forums...0-cutlass.html

Sorry, Eric, but Halfmoon is correct. 1970 bezels are different, as can be seen in the photos. The corners are more rounded. The 71-72 bezels are more squared off. Of course, the ones for sale are 72s, since 71s were not painted.

Ok, I now see you are right halfmoon. The other set I have that I compared to was a '71 set with no paint. Once Joe brought that up, it clicked in! Thanks to both of you for helping. Also, thanks for the pic. Now if I could only change the title.....

I have both '71 and '72. The '71 doors are in the same condition as the ones pictured......I will be in Rochester, NY July 12-15 if anyone near there wants to save shipping.

I found that if you have a 71 you are better off buying the ones for a 72 because you can take off the black paint w/stripper and then that area looks like new. Looks like these are good ones, but I already have some spares. Erik, How's it going on the Vista?

Funny you should ask Greg...I was at the shop today, and thought of you when I saw the carpet. I've been doing a lot of cleaning and organizing there. The guy I shared the shop with passed away in September, leaving me by myself with twice the rent. So I have been doing side work there to pay the rent. Collision work as it is a much quicker and profitable turn around. So, long story short, I will be starting again on it full bore soon!. We will be putting the dynamat down and ordering the carpet.....so I will get that rug to you if you are still interested....
