70-72 Backup light housings restored

SOLD

I had some requests for more of these restored. The problem is that they raised the price on me to have them replated. the springs still work very nice. Tested and work great. I have to have $100 per set shipped in the USA.

Great job Eric, those look good as new, in fact the plating is probably better than new.
Good luck.

You sold both sets in less than a day? Looks like you need to raise your price!

As much as I have in these you are right. I just don't think anyone will pay any more than this. If I had known they were going to double the coating price on me I would not even have done any more sets. I have about 2.5 hours in them and $140 invested. By the time I pay shipping I could have sold them as used and made more money and saved the time. That is ok, You win some and lose some.

Those were beautiful.

I have found the same. You can't really afford to restore the parts and then sale. The math just never seems to work out.

If they didn't double the price I would be in great shape with them. Maybe they figured tha out and wanted a piece of the action, lol
