70-72 automatic floor shifter w/cable
70-72 automatic floor shifter w/cable
Put a dual gate in so this one is up for grabs. Chrome is decent, **** is nice. Worked perfectly when in the car. Good overall condition. Cable included. $150 plus shipping.

That's a pretty nice deal IMO......especially with the condition of the parts...
>Nice shift ****....many show a lot more wear than that and a repro **** is $47.
>Chrome on the shift and pull handle....most have a lot of bubbling and at that point you can forget a decent rechrome job unless you spend BIG $. Shifters with chrome like that (you describe as "decent") can be cleaned and installed in a car as is and look fine. And....if the thing isn't covered with bubbling in the areas where it matters (ie - the part that sticks above the console and is visible once installed) then it's a superb/easy rechrome candidate that won't cost an arm and a leg to rechrome.
>Shift cable....those cost around $80 for a repro.
Condition of the metal base, etc looks like this one lead a reasonably good life....not heavily rusted, etc like a lot of these assemblies are.
Be patient...someone will see the "value". I know there are a lot of these things floating around out there (have a few myself) but not many in real nice condition that can be used "as is" and still look very good.
Items like attaching bolts to the floor, etc are easy to get locally and cheap.
