I happened onto a barn find that had a couple cars. One was a 70 special paint -- 442 - 70 GTO, parts and some NOS parts. The 442 was gone with a lot of the parts when I went back but they missed the attic parts.

One 70-72 442, W-30 RAM AIR CLEANER. The metal lid and base look original and the plastic lid looks NOS non painted Oldsmobile. Yes the plastic does have the 70 and part number asking Sold

I also have some Olds rally wheels & centers but have not got the codes off of them yet.

You probably know that those are actually 1971-72 fenders. They fit 1970 but have the crumple zone bumps that are not correct for a 1970 car. Good luck with the sale.

 

No I did not know. When I searched the part numbers they come up 70-72.

That's unfortunately the problem with more recent parts books. When these crumple zone fenders came out, GM superceded the 1970 part numbers, so all the parts books, including the ones on line, only show the newer number. GM would periodically publish lists of the superceded numbers. As I said, the fit the 1970 cars just fine, but are not visually correct for a concourse restoration.

yes got some Olds NOS parts and some GTO NOS parts and a lot of nice used items.
The 442 Plastic cover is NOS as it has not had any screws installed and I think the foam is also NOS.
With original base and lid, date stamped in the base bottom.....

I was looking through some wheels and found two olds rims, I know there is more but I cannot get to them yet. One is 15" MR - M54 & one 14" code MJ - M54.???

I also dug these out 14x7 Code LZ All six but the four are about the same dates. Name (BLACK set)
Are these olds wheels? They look like SS wheels....

 

70-72 Olds SSI LZ code wheels. They are the exact same stamping as 69-70 YA AO code Chevelle SS wheels but they have chrome spokes and all the rest of the wheel is black.

 

I think $2800.00 is a lot for the fenders even if they are NOS
