this clock has ben hooked to a battery for a week and has good time. the lense has a scuff. $20 shipped to your door (48 states). if interested i can get you a picture. it is working but i give no guarantee that it will when it gets there. i just can't believe it works. it was in a car with no windows and outside for years. the only thing that saved it was the windshield was broke and drooped over it.
