'68 Olds 8 Track $200 SOLD

SOLD

Up for sale is a clean 8 Track player.
Originally from a '68 Toro, it should work in all '68 through '72 Olds cars that had the underdash player.
I've replaced the belts, cleaned & demagnitized the tape path, lubed the capstan, checked overall operation.
There is some wear to the tape door. See pictures.
I've included a video of it in operation.

Is the service model number for a 1968 Toronado the same as a Cutlass?

I'd have to check my Delco books, but off the cuff I'd say no. The Model # for a Cutlass would probably be 83AT4xx, or 83BT4xx. The Toro was special because the lower mounting plate was part of the player's lower cover. I can look that up for you, LMK. Thanks.
