68 Cutlass S 442 Bench Seat

Front bench seat with tracks. Bottom has been recovered in black s and 442 pattern. New upper covers go along with it. May need new foam for the uppers. Should have everything there to put it back together.

Am I seeing that right? You're putting a 70 OAI hood onto your 69? If you are? Way cool and I think it looks fabulous. Only seen 2 other guys on this site do it and IMO that's the hood that should have been on that car from the factory! Any modifications needed?

Yep, you need to venture down to the dark side to see the build thread on the car.

The only mods are the light weight springs and I have to cut the core support to fit the 70 hood latch.

Just went through your build. IMPRESSIVE!! Don't know how I missed it over the past couple of years. I'm subscribed now and looking forward to the updates.

So the mods aren't horrendous. I was curious about the FC hood. I talked to Robb about one for my car and he said it virtually would need no tweaking and the rear cowl strip would fit without a lot of shaving like the all fibreglass ones. I also want a hood that allows a functional hood release for my T44 hood lock. Can't afford the Thornton hood.

Hope the OEM hood sale helps pay the cost of prep/paint on the OAI one. The car is looking fantastic.

I wouldn't hold out much hope. This 72 hood started at $50 about a year ago and has been $20 for quite a while now

I ordered my hood from fiber concepts. The hood only needs minor attention. Highly recommend them.
