68 400

For sale is a 68/69 400 G block, rods and pistons. Just tore this short block down. Std bore minor rust in one cylinder. $200 obo. Located in southeastern pa.

Did you notice the three angles the factory cut in the top of the bore to help air transitioning from the small bore to cylinder head?

Thanks for pointing that out. Those Oldsmobile Engineers were pretty crafty. They must have tried to make up for the valve shrouding due to the small bores.

matt unfortunatly the vin is not readable on this block to be able to determine.

That could be a good thing for me but now how to get it. I’m looking for a 400 for my 1968 442 I got a 455 now but they only came with 400 that year but I’m sure you knew that.
