I have a very nice pair of 1968 Grand Prix bucket seats in black vinyl. There is a couple spots on the driver side seat where the piping is worn, the remainder of both seats is very nice. I would like to trade these seats for a nice pair of 1967 buckets, condition of the upholstery does not matter but I would prefer the post coupe style upholstery to use as pattern material. I am in south east georgia and can bring them to Murfreesboro in July.
Any idea if these are the same frame structure as 68 442 buckets, meaning could you put 68 442 foam and covers on these to make-olds seats?
Price?.
All 1966-1972 GM A/B/E-body bucket seats use the same frames. Obviously the seatback locks and headrest mechanisms vary by year, but the basic frame is the same.
