65 330 and 68 455 running engines TX not mine

1965 Olds Cutlass 330 V8 complete engine - $400 (Longview) East TX
'65 Cutlass F85 complete engine for sale. These were high compression factory hot rod engines (11.5:1 ratio). This engine runs, I replaced it with a W30 455. I was holding on to the original motor but I need the space now. The engine is complete from the carb to the oil pan. Call or text me with any questions, 903-235-2152. Joe

still have this? Looks like you posted this in 2014. There is someone who was going to contact you about it. He mentioned it in the thread. There is one about 30 mins from my house for $300 (minus the carb). I wanted to see what transmission was paired with this engine. To see what I was getting into.

The majority of the transmissions that were paired with a 330 was called a Jetaway, ST300 Switch Pitch. It was a 2 speed and had a variable pitch torque converter.

Can any of the “modern” trannies work, auto or manual? Wanting manual but just want to make sure this is does not have an odd bell housing configuration.

What part of "Not Mine"in Title and its 2014 makes the most sense ??? LMAO


I should have bought that 68 455 for my Rallye 350 instead of taking it apart
