Eric, I think you were looking a 62 engine. Basic engine is the same but there are differences in timing cover and water pump between 59-62 and 63-64 394.

It's been four years since OP, but a phone call never hurts.

I have a running, driving 394 engine and "slim jim" transmission in a 63 Dynamic 88 convertible that I want to sell. Presently building a 455 Olds with TH400 transmission that I'm going to install. As far as I know, both ok, but need seals from sitting up too long. Want $750 for the pair. Located in N. E. Texas.
