I have a bunch of stuff for a 55 olds. I have a hood and deck lid and inter fenders. I have a complete V-8 W/ 4 barrel carb and auto transmission. I have a complete rear end--hub to hub. I have the front and rear bumpers--good condition but need to be rechromed. I have the push button radio and the clock. Most of the enterior chrome and stainless. It is all apart. I can send pictures of what I have. I would love to sell it all at once--But will also sell as needed.

 

Wish i had a 55 olds to buy this stuff for.

I'm looking for front driver's side trip pieces. It's a small, wrap-around chrome piece next to the bumper itself (wow....that description stinks!). It's a chrome trim piece above the bumper where the front end begins curving back towards the fender (a foot or so under the headlight).

I'll try to borrow a digital camera and send you a picture of what I'm looking for. I was hit by an uninsured motorist....the front drivers side took a bit of a pounding. Maybe I should simply offer to take any front trim pieces (either side of the car) you're willing to part with? Can you ball park a price for all your front trim?

Hi guys,can anyone help me to determin what designates the body style in from the ID tag. I have a 55 2 dr. hdt. olds. I`d like to know if it`s a 88 or a super,or a deluxe model. I hope someone has that info.

The original post was December 2007 and it does not appear the guy answered anybody's post. Maybe somebody else will see your post and answer you. I would not hold my breath on this one.

 

DOH! That IS an old post! I hadn't even noticed until you pointed that out! Bummer I could've used a couple of those parts!

For anyone interested; I have a MINT Condition HOOD for a '55; it's in primer and READY to be painted and put on a car! (ALL The proper holes are there for the hood latch mechanisms and the Hood Ornament, etc. etc.) PM me if interested.
