Here is a 455 Olds engine with a TH400 that came out of a 1968 Delta 88. The engine ran good when I removed it from the car 15 or 20 years ago and has been stored in my dry basement ever since. This engine would be perfect for a rebuild I don't know the mileage but i'm sure its well over 100K. I was going to try and find a 65 to 67 Cutlass for it but its not going to happen, getting too old for this stuff. Engine still turns over by hand and I can feel the compression. Some numbers I found on the engine are as follows:
Casting near distributor: 1430
Casting behind flywheel: 68 F2
Heads: C
Engine # on boss under alternator: 38M431008
Transmission Tag: OC 68 135391
I also have the radiator if you want it.
I also believe its a cast crank not forged.
