425 Steel Crankshaft $250 obo

I have a 425 forged steel crankshaft from a 1967 Delta 88. I had it magnafluxed at Houston Engine & Balance and checked okay. The rod and main journals are standard. Great candidate for the DX diesel block crank swap. Which is what I was going to do, but decided to stay with Big Block. $250 obo

Header "crank" so I don't delete it.

LOL 425 is big block. That is a very good price for the crank. This crank could be re-stroked for use in a 455 block. A guy could use as is. Again this is a good deal.

Just an FYI, the small block diesel utilizes the BB main journal diameter. So... You can turn down the rod journal diameter offset and to fit BB Chevy rod (and other variables). You can achieve 440+ci in a bullet proof block. Was gonna do this but looking for huge horsepower and this crank will be limited to about 700hp. Which is killer street HP. Or just stick it in a 455 block (same bore as 425) and get ya a screamer big block.
I'm looking for 1500HP and that crank is $2900.
Enjoy!

I had the pleasure of talking to Joe about this years ago. Incredibly nice guy and talked to me for over an hour on the phone like we were old friends. Joe genuinely lived and loved his work. God rest his soul.... Mondello's now just ain't the same. IMO

I have a '66 98 parts car with a 425. Can one of you guys post the write ups on these combos? Or pm them to me please? 600-700 hp would be fine with me.
