4 speed conversion kit

SOLD I have most everything you would need to put a 4 speed in your car. I have been accumulating these parts for a while now with the intent of using them in my own project but life brings changes so that won't happen now. If I have decoded the 4 speed correctly the P0D46A translates to an M20 built on April 6th, 1970. The trans has been fully rebuilt and includes al new shifter rods. Both the trans and bellhousing look great and appear to have no flaws. The shifter has been beautifully rechromed and looks new. It would be correct for a 70 to 72 Olds A body with bucket seats with console. The pressure plate should likely be lightly resurfaced but is in good shape. Most of the parts are either new or very nicely refinished originals. The brake pedal/clutch combination is included and an example of the refinishing that was done. The intake manifold is the 4 speed specific version and has been very nicely repainted, I'm sure that there are a few pieces that would need to be sourced to finish the conversion but most everything is readily available for these now.

This kit is very heavy and local pickup would probably be best. However, if the 2020 Nationals go ahead as planned, I could deliver there. If shipping is required and you have a Fastenal location close by, I could crate it all and ship it. No idea of what that would cost but it might be high.

I'm asking $3,200 for all of it plus shipping. I actually have more than that in it but it needs to go to a new home.

Just a heads up; Fastenal has suspended shipping due to the virus. Nice looking complete set-up. Good Luck! with the sale.

Rocketman - thanks for the heads-up. I did not know that. Hopefully I can get a local sale.

OldsAl - You are absolutely right! It did take a good little while. I truly hate selling it all as it was intended for a 70 442 convertible. I always wanted one but Coronavirus cost me my job and I can't do this kind of project on Social Security so it all has to go.

The shifter handles are different between console and non console cars.

You are missing the back drive rod, and the back up light switch to have everything.

Good luck with the sale. Just curious, what is the difference on a 70 intake manifold built for a 4 speed car vs one intended for an 1970 442 auto trans car?

Thumbs down Tried to Help your Post.

I just love it when the original poster just blows by data that helps correct the original post.

Why waste time trying to help?

The original poster did go back and make all of the corrections noted except one. The ad clearly states that I have MOST of the parts Looks like you didn't bother to go back and check the ad copy. I guess my failure was in not giving you public accolades for your knowledge. My apologies for the oversight.
