350 sbo

350 small block Olds, .030" over with 10.5:1 CR, #6 heads with Comp screw-in studs, guidplates and #1442 roller rocker arms, polished Edelbrock Performer RPM intake, Toronado 6 quart oil pan, Moroso tall chrome valve covers with ARP studs & retainers.

Ran consistent 12-teens at 109 MPH in the heat, in a 3400 lb. car with a 9" converter, 350 turbo and 4.10 rear gear ratio. Best of 11.93 at 110 MPH in real good air. Has been a very good performer.

Has approximately 60 runs on it since it was built. Would make a great street engine as well.

$2,850.00, picked up in the St. Louis, MO area.

It's a Howard's solid. Pretty agressive. I'll find the cam card and get back with you in the next day or so. Thanks.

A friend gave me a 383 SBC shortblock to try for racing this year. I did the unforgivable and put it in the '79 Cutlass I have.

It actually still cost me a pretty good amount of money to make the transistion. So, I figured I would just sell what I wasn't using and try to recoup some of my expense.

Besides, it's sitting in another friend's shop taking up his space.

It was a very good runner for me. Just trying to go faster, cheaply.

Good luck with that!

Did you have power brakes on your car? The question is, does the engine have enough vacuum at idle to power brakes?

From the air cleaner to the pan what is missing that is needed for turn key? What carb? Included or not? What distributor? Included or not? What stall converter? Included or not? What size valves? Any head work done? What year is the block? Any work on the oiling system, which I understand is an issue in Oldsmobiles. I'm trying to determine what the final price would be for a complete turn key install.

Thanks

Howard's profile #6120, part #519992.

At .050" of valve lift it has duration of 255 intake and 266 exhaust. It has .538" of lift and a lobe center of 105 + 6.

Peak RPM range is 2600 to 6600.

I hope this helps.
