324 rocket and auto transmission for sale

I have a 324 Rocket engine and automatic transmission. Complete except for air cleaner. Non running, but turns over smoothly. needs a complete rebuild. $1000.00, located in Southern California. (949)510-2759

You might want to list at least the head numbers or what it came out of. There is quite a difference in engines from 54 to 56 though all of them are 324's. Also is it a slant pan or a Jetaway transmission.That would make a difference if swapping a engine and transmission out of a existing car and they wouldn't match.... Just a thought that might help you sell your engine/ trans..... Tedd

Thank you Tedd. I'm trying to down load some pictures, no luck yet. The block casting number is 563922 with a big 9. The transmission has the slanted pan.
