This is the trim piece that runs along the length of the tailgate. I took this off of my '73 Custom Cruiser (which I no longer own) because I found a nicer, NOS piece on ebay. But I kept this one because I couldn't bring myself to throw it away. Other than the fact that the coloring has faded somewhat, it's otherwise in good shape. Complete, no damage, all mounting studs intact. For someone whose car is missing this piece or has a damaged one, this might be a reasonable replacement until you can find a better one, if you ever do.

I don't know if this will fit other years. I did take a photo of the number stamped on the back if that's of any use.
