1973-75 NOS swivel seat knob
#8
Yes recovered with materials from SMS. Osbourne cloth and doeskin grained light saddle vinyl. Got them back Friday. I have them sitting in the car but not fully mounted yet. I'll get some pictures when I get them bolted in place. I bought twice what the trim shop suggested and it was a good thing because he used it all. It takes more of the plaid cloth than you would think because it needs to be cut to line up the pattern in the cloth inserts or it will look like crap AND lined up vertically and horizontally. It took a lot of vinyl because these seats have a welt bead running around the entire perimeter of the inserts and he had to make all this and was able to use my original edge welt that hold the seat cover to the bucket, which was also good because no one makes the correct edge welt. Most people use windlace. Also he had to get pliable plastic and recover it to make the belts that run across the inserts on the front and back seats. Said it was good he hadn't done a set in a while because he forgot how much work it takes. 23 pieces per front seat cover. He did say he would charge the next guy twice what he charged me. They do look awesome. I'll be scared to sit in them they are so nice.
