1972 cutlass Rear quarters
Back in my younger years I purchased a set of rear quarters for a project car I had, 1972 Cutlass convertible. I never used them. These quarters are the real deal, purchased in Detroit from an Olds dealer on 8 mile. I have been carrying them around ever since, 33 years. Perfect condition, Time to let go. So up for sale are a set of OEM rear quarters, I'm not sure what they are worth so just looking to see if anyone is interested.

No Box's, its been 30 + years, but the part number tag is still attached, I'll post some pics, I'm located in Hermitage PA. As for price, I would like to get the high side of whats suggested $1,600 but I am open for offers. Crating and shipping not included. I would imagine you will not find another OEM set like these anywhere.

There are plenty of aftermarket quarter skins from Goodmark or others for 3687 body styles, and they cost a lot less; even with the tweaking they may need for fitment.

The $1,400 to $1,600 figure is for a guy who needs both sides now, for a restoration, and will pay for GM parts. I believe there was someone on this site who had a pair advertised for a while at $1,400; don't know if they ever sold. I bought a pair locally for $1,100 or $1,200 a few years back from someone who was tired of storing them. These aren't as rare as you seem to think they are. You could buy these from any GM dealer until 1996 so they are still out there. I remember paying $256 per side for GM convertible quarters in 1988 from my local Olds dealer so I am guessing your buy-in price was low. Potential buyers may not be close to you, or want to deal with picking them up/storing them. Figure out how much effort you want to put into selling them up/storing them, whether you are dealing with a bs buyer or not, etc... A local guy offering $1,000 to $1,200 for a no games transaction may be fair for both sides. Anyway, you get the idea on price.

I am in Erie. I just used one of my set on my supreme that I have been carrying around since 94. the price capped out on these about ten years ago when they started producing a good quality full replacement. they are still worth about $1500 to the right guy. If you need anything keep me in mind as I am not to far away from you.
