Did you have a chance to check on the radiator?

I thought I sent you an email on the radiator. Sorry. I did check the letters and there was an L instead of the A. It wasn't the correct date code. Again sorry for not getting that information back to you

Pictures of the parts

Here are some shots of the Grille and the Center Caps. I only have three Center Caps. The each Grille has one broken tab. but it doesn't effect the looks when installed.

I hope this doesn't sound stupid .But is the grille on a 71 cutlass s the same as what's on a 71 cutlass 442.

I don't think that's a stupid question. And I can't answer it either. I don't know. I'm still learning. Hopefully one of the experts will chime in and tell us.

No, 2 different grilles. The 442 grille was its own, not on any other model.

Keep in mind, it isn't (is not) a Cutlass Sport Steering wheel. It's still real cool looking. I have it on display in the garage for now.

Hello.

What color are the bucket seats? Are the center caps the snap-on type? Are the trim rings 14 or 15 inch - what do you mean that they are the smaller 5-hole type?

Thanks,
Anthony

The bucket seats are green. They will need to be refinished. They work great, need one spring, need new covers and the seat backs need to be redyed.

The center caps are the snap on type.

The trim rings are the small five hole type.

Thanks

I also have a "dumb" question, what is a small 5-hole type trim ring? Does it have something to do with the retainer clips? Did not know there were different type of Oldsmobile trim rings, besides the diameter and width. Thanks, Anthony

That's not a dumb question. I didn't know how to discribe the part to effectively.

There are five smaller stainless steel trim rings on the SSII and SSIII rims. These rings fit the five smaller holes/slots.

The rims were trashed (rusted) but the stainless steel is in great condition so I pulled all the smaller trim rimgs off of the five rims that were with the car.

Thanks

Interested in steering wheel and console. Is the 71 console identical to the 70 console? I have a 70 442 with turbo 400. Please PM. Cash in hand, thanks!

Pictures of the seats

Here are a few pictures of the seats. As you can see, they need to be refurbished. But they are firm and work great.
